Our Focus On Children
As much as we as parents sacrifice for our children, that sacrifice hardly seems to equal the hope we place in them; hope which we transform into expectations for them and expectations in their education and in their teachers.
We at Bennett Academy not only understand this, we embrace it. We expect a lot from our Bennett kids and we expect a lot from ourselves.
What inevitably lightens the load of all of these high expectations is our student's acceptance of, and even exuberance for, the attention to individual learning and traditional boundaries of behavior Bennett Academy maintains. Time after time our students prove they can not only meet our expectations, but exceed them.
Sure it's sometimes hard. Growth and challenge are like that - but the results are rewarding and very often a lot of fun.
Our attention to our students engenders respect in both directions. Their growing abilities and confidence are foundational to their satisfaction in life and to their safety, now and as they continue to reach for maturity.

More than 2470 years ago Plato wrote that the philosopher Socrates, one of Plato's teachers, said that "the unexamined life is not worth living." Above, those words are shown in an original Greek text. |
