Bright Future Begins With
Bennett Academy.
|
 |
At Our Charter School Care Is A Given, Character Is Expanded, And Challenges Are Made And Met.
Bennett Academy serves K through 8th grade students from all over Phoenix and the Valley. As a member of the National Junior Honor Society we offer a challenging, coordinated, comprehensive educational experience with high expectations.
We opened in 1995, the first year that charter schools were approved in Arizona. There are now over 500 charter schools state wide. We take pride in being one of the first and most successful - and we measure success by our students.
We limit enrollment to 200 students. We know all our children by name and we love each of them. Much is expected from them and much is given to them. Your child's potential is discovered and nurtured by a caring and talented staff. |

Curiosity Comes In Many Forms.
Bennett Academy Provides A Respectful & Fun Environment That Encourages A Young Mind's Natural Inquisitiveness. |

Award winning theatre productions; history, science and literature projects; sports programs; and rich and relevant seminar style studies mixed with traditional methods and multi-grade classes are some of the ways we provide a high standard of interesting, engaging, physically balanced, and intellectually stimulating prepatory education. Effective too. Our students find themselves prepared. Not just for the federal and state required standard tests, but for friendship, citizenship, service, advanced education, and, well, what we trust are and will continue to be lives well lived.
Bennett Theatre was the first school to
receive the AriZonie Theatre award for
Best Original Children’s show in 2002
for it’s production of “Testament.” This
powerful and moving story of the Holocaust
has been seen by over 2000 people
and praised by Holocaust survivors as an
accurate depiction of what they endured.
A copy of it is currently in The Museum
of Tolerance in Los Angeles.
Who can resist engaging the Gifted And Those Who Think They Are? Not us. Students and staff, Bennett Royals all, embrace and use the concept to tackle issues both current and historic, large and small. And it's no accident we end up involved with Science and History and Literature and Math and Language and all manner of subjects fit for interesting and challenging study.
It is easy to see why
students get a great education at Bennett Academy!
